The staff are extremely friendly and warm and the food is really delicious 😋 The ambience is also nice and invites you to linger. A great tip for everyone who wants to take a break there.

Nice little restaurant in the middle of the forest or in the small town of Waldhaus near Greiz. Tasty lunch dishes, small snacks, cakes, coffee, drinks ... Manageable menu options, but tasty and sufficient. Whether on foot, by bike or by car: the forest area offers numerous opportunities for nature-based excursions.

On August 4th, 2020 we (a sports group), 10 people, came here. Although it was only open until 6:00 p.m., we were guaranteed a non-mandatory "stay". We spent a very nice evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in a wonderful atmosphere. The manager of the house served us with food and drinks to our complete satisfaction. Freshly prepared and good in taste. Nice and friendly "service", highly recommended. Gladly again.

The food was ok. But why an inn does not accept a lost car key from the finder remains a mystery. Many thanks to the unknown Finder, who has then safely deposited the key in the parking lot.

Worst restaurant experience ever. Hungry in and after various "teachings" of the presumable owner without ordering hungry again out ...

Unfortunately I wasn't satisfied. It was our first time there, used the toilet and bought two ice creams. The lady in the service didn't leave us a friendly impression. For the use of the toilet 60 cents were added, which surprised us very much. The fee is not posted anywhere and we usually do not assume that we will have to pay for it as a customer. Best wishes
